My @schizosomething Instagram account is mostly a mood board for various therapeutic writing/visual art/sound projects I’m working on. That said, there’s plenty of mental health moaning and middle-aged alienation.

Please note that I do try not to sound like a cross between Bob the Builder and Anne Sexton.

I don’t really like Twitter. I find it’s gone very samey since everybody decided to agree with each other and work towards a consensus. Note that I lost access to my old account and I’m in the process of reestablishing myself as Schizosomething (Number Two). The name sums up my view of Twitter. I’m using it mostly now for research, and a bit of quiet conversation with some mentals and misfits.

My approach to all social media is pretty much the same. Exchange a few comments, support each other, have some laughs.

I’m just launching my Schizosomething soundcloud account. Until I add some podcasts, why not listen to Prince’s Mountains Extended Version (it’s on someone else’s account), details on Princevault.com. Stick with it until 4mins 2secs when funk proper begins. I’m dancing around my bedroom as you’re reading this. Yes, I know I’m a middle-aged man.

My Facebook account only exists so that I can look at videos of my family and friend’s toddlers and think thank freaking fuck I never had children.

I may be able to afford a small amount of Braille, so please ask if required. I can supply materials in easy read, large print and audio. Please send an email.

Back in the day (until around 2006), I had a good knowledge of online accessibility. I am currently trying to upgrade myself.

Response times

Comments appear immediately on this site, but you may not get a reply for a while.

I almost always reply to comments, messages and tweets, but sometimes not for days, or even weeks. Ditto email. I’m mental.
